Birthday

Another while has passed and lots has happened. As the post title says, I had my birthday on the 16th and that was great. The pic show Fajen, Phil, myself, and Ryan. We went and had some dinner at fuddruckers and that was great.

In other news, school has started up again and this semester will be a lot of busy work. That's ok though, this is the last mile for me so I'm gonna push along as well as possible.

I also started working at Novell again. Things just didn't work out at Network General so I headed back. Kinda an interesting series of events but that's not important right now. What is important is that now I'm working on desktop linux which is awesome, that where my passion is so that's great. I'm also working with some great people and look forward to getting some good work done.

For a birthday present to myself I went to a G. Love concert and that was the best concert I've ever been to. I honestly couldn't have asked for more. That was on the 21st of January so it's been a week now, but I still have his tunes going through my head. You check out my flickr site if you want to see photos from the concert.

I'll try and keep this updated a bit more in the future. Famous last words though.

Well it's been a while since I posted again and as usual a lot has happened. Since I last posted I have made it back home to Utah and started classes up again. I had a great time in D.C. and met colorful people in the airports and on the planes on the way back.

I'm not too awfully excited about school starting up classes again but this will be the last time pretty much. I have finance, marketing, organizational behavior, supply chain management, and something else. Today was the first day I had class with Brother Mills and he did a great job. I need to study up some stuff for class tomorrow so until next time...

Another couple weeks have passed since I had a chance to write up a new entry so here goes. First off, I finished up classes for fall semester 2005 and was happy to get that done with. For my accounting final all I needed to get my anticipated C+ was a 20% on the final so to take the final I walked into the testing center and filled in "c" for every answer. When it all said and done I got a 22% which was passing with flying colors :) The day after class got out on the 17th I went to the U2 concert in SLC and had a great time. I went with Jeff, Ryan Whiting, Jeff Johnson, and a couple other people I didn't know. U2 put on a great show as expected and it was a great way to kick off my break in between semesters. On the 23rd of December I flew out to Baltimore Maryland to be with my brother Jared for the holidays. The flight went great and I actually arrived early which is surprising especially during the holiday season. Since my arrival we've had Christmas and a couple trips to D.C. to visit the sites. It's been great to see the capital and all that goes with it. On the 31st I took a trip up to Gettysburg and looked over that incredible battlefield. There's an interesting feeling there. I'll be flying out of Maryland on the 3rd to get back to the grind at home. I also recently purchased tickets to see G. Love perform up in Park City on the 21st so stay posted for the report on that!
