Yet again it has been another very long time since I last wrote. This time it has been almost 2 months which is way too long, I'll do better! As the title says the GNOME project has released a fresh new version. I'm running it right now and as always I'm impressed. There have been great speed improvements. Last week was Novell's Brainshare conference in Salt Lake City and I went up there a couple days and enjoyed that as always. School is slowly but surely moving along...I can more than see the light at the end of the tunnel now which means I slack too much because this is pretty much my last semester...ever. :)
In other news, I'm getting ready to start learning a new web framework for php called symfony which looks promising. I'm just getting started on that so I'll try and keep my findings/experiences posted here.
I've kinda started getting into swimming the past month or so as well. I've been going to the rec center about 2-4 times a week which has been good to get exercise. It's still been cold outside which leaves little motivation for jogging.
One last little tidbit, Ben Harper released a new album entitled "Both Sides of The Gun" which I picked up on Saturday and I think it's great. Hopefully I can see him in concert this summer sometime. Well, as always, got schoolwork to do, later.
