The Past Month

Well, it's been quite some time since I've written and quite a few things have happened. First off, over the weekend of the 4th of July I was able to take a trip home with Jeff and Kristie and little Sydney. While we were there, Jared and Christina had the blessing for their little baby Eli Dean Hansen. I was able to help with that blessing on the 4th. It was nice to have the whole family together again and to see all the familiar faces from my home ward. While in Idaho, we took a trip to "hansen's ranch" and stayed the night at silver creek plunge as well. It had been over 10 years since we had visited that great place of childhood memories. It was neat to go back and see it after all these years, not to mention be able to go swimming in the pool without adult supervision. The ranch was cool as well. Although I was too young to remember very well all the ward activities there, as I walked alround the pretty sights and smells came back clearly. It was nice to walk around were my grandfather spent so much time and just breathe in the same air that he did many years ago. The trip back was uneventful and all went well. After returning on Wednesday, I turned right back around and went to Brian and Darla's house for Tosha's mission report. It's always great to go visit their secluded house and just relax. I went and returned alone and all went well. I always like getting out on the road with my car and just cruising with the sun roof back. So that was enjoyable. This has been an interesting week. Before I left for Malta, I met a girl named Amy and we've hung out quite a bit this week. We'll see how things go with that. All is well. I love life and my family.
